No. Not another Web Developer

I’ve been working with Internet Technologies for over 20 years, but at the same time I have honed expertise in digital media, marketing, design, and visual communication. I’ve implemented large ERP systems around the globe, and taught I.T and Digital Design at University. My resumé is a bit unusual, so, “No! I am not another web developer”.

I use the term “Internet Technologist“, as it seems to fit with the majority of work I do. So while I am a software developer, I do more than code. I guide my clients towards the most effective use of Internet technology to meet their specific business objectives. From custom database and software development to visual identity, branding, blogs, and social networks.
I even do the odd bit of print design, because I can, and it’s fun. But if you have the need for a large integrated solution that interfaces with your back-office systems then talk to me too. The variety of work I undertake keeps life interesting and keeps me motivated.

With the Internet my main source of client work, I help develop clarity for your brand image, and provide the visual tools and tricks to help you stand out from the crowd. I craft textual copy that gets your message across and communicates what makes you so desirable, and special. You are you know!

But most importantly, I speak human. I’ve been around long enough to know that talking tech often results in peoples eyes glazing over. I understand the tech, the smoke, the mirrors, but I communicate in plain English, or bad French, or even worse Japanese (your choice).

My work stands out because it works. It takes time, it’s not cheap, but the results are worth it.
